What to Eat?

GM diet plan expects people to have a big breakfast, moderate lunch, and a light dinner. Remember to have 8-12 glasses of water for cleansing your body. The plan given below will tell you what to eat in 7 days.

DAY 1: Today it’s all about fruits. You can eat all the fruits except for the banana. Try to eat fruits that are rich in water such as watermelon, berries and citrus fruits. There is no restriction on the quantity or number of fruits.

DAY 2:  Today calls for all vegetables. These can be used raw or cooked. Use olive oil for cooking vegetables. Followers of this diet plan are recommended to start their day with boiled potato and avoid potato in the remaining day. Food groups to avoid the second day include fruits, proteins, and dairy products.

DAY 3: This day is a fusion of food groups of the previous two days i.e., fruits and vegetables. The food to avoid includes potato, banana, dairy products, grains, and proteins.

DAY 4: This day calls for the consumption of bananas and milk. Wonder soup is also to be included on day 4. You can have 8 bananas along with 4 glasses of preferably skimmed milk over the day. The wonder soup is popularly known as cabbage soup. It can be prepared in just 20 minutes without any haste.

Wonder Soup Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup onion
  • 1/4 cup cabbage
  • 2 small tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup green peppers
  • Celery- 1 stalk
  • Carrot- 1 small
  • Lemon- 1/2 slice for flavor
  • Water as needed
  • Olive oil 1 teaspoon
  • Red Chili as per taste
  • Salt as per taste

Method: Chop all the vegetables and put them aside. Add olive oil in a pan and heat it. Add in onion and fry until golden brown. Now add all other chopped vegetables and stir. Adjust salt and red chilly as per your taste. Now add water and put on the lid to cook under pressure for 15 minutes.  Pour it in a bowl and cool down it.  Add lemon juice and the wonder soup is ready to be taken.

DAY 5: You are done with mid of your diet plan. You can have 2 oz. of meat today and unlimited vegetables except for potato.  Vegetarians can consume cottage cheese instead of meat. The food to avoid is potato and tomato.  Remember to consume enough water.

DAY 6: This day is the reward day of your diet plan. You can have brown rice, lean meat, vegetables both in cooked and uncooked form, chicken, fish, mushrooms, and lentils. But there are limitations to avoid red meat, white rice, potato, banana, mango, cherries, and dairy.

DAY 7: The last day calls for the consumption of fruit juices, brown rice, and vegetables. Remember to avoid potato, banana, mango, dairy, beans, lentils and mushrooms.

Supplementary Food permitted in the 7 Day GM Diet Plan:

Anyone of the following food items can be taken each day to fight off mid-day cravings.

  • Regular Milk can be substituted with soy milk.
  • Beef with cottage cheese or chicken.
  • Green Tea without Sugar.
  • Black Coffee without sugar.
  • Sprouts around 2 oz or nuts around 1 oz.
